Chateau Le Boscq Vintage 2010 VINTAGE WINES 2000Classified in 2020 as a Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel, Chteau Le Boscq is a prestigious, elegant Saint Estphe wine, harmoniously allying the power of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot with the delicacy of Merlot. Refined and well balanced, the wine shows great potential and will improve with ageing. The 2010 vintage was exceptional for the region. Typical blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot. 75cl Bottle. 13% Abv Bottle condition capsule

All in all this is a very nice showing and a lovely old bottle

In the years following the French revolution

The nose was medium in expression

although not quite reaching the highest of 1961

This beautiful wine is aged for six months in new French oak barrels

The cork was firmly stuck to the neck and I ended up having to push it on in and decant
